My name is Chiema. I'm from Japan.
I was born and raised in Kyoto city and now I live in Sendai city. I have moved several times and have lived in Tokyo, Nagoya, Ehime and Fukuoka. Everywhere is a wonderful city, and my favorite is my hometown, Kyoto.
Kyoto is a historic city a little west of the middle of Japan and is very popular for sightseeing. There are many shrines and temples, and it is very beautiful city no matter what season you visit. Cherry blossoms in spring, Gion Festival in summer (one of the three major festivals in Japan), autumn leaves in autumn, and New Year's visit to the shrine in winter. It is very crowded with tourists.
Sendai is in the northeast of Japan and is called "City of Trees". It is a very beautiful city full of greenery, and it is a very nice place to live with the sea, mountains and hot springs. It is a relatively cold area in Japan, and it often snows in winter.
I was born and raised in Japan, but my mother is Thai, so Thailand is my second home. I like Ayutthaya and Chiang Mai.
I love reading, music, postcrossing, walking, writing a diary, and movies. My favorite movies are "Begin again" and "Sing Street" directed by John Carney. I really love watching movies and learn many important things in my life from them. Every year, I want to watch 365 movies in a year, but I haven't achieved it yet. I want to achieve 365 this year!
I'd also like to introduce a book I love, "The Night Is Short, Walk on Girl," a novel by Tomihiko Morimi. It's a fantasy science fiction novel set in my hometown, Kyoto. It's my favorite. Of the books I've read recently, "Project Hail Mary" was really interesting!
