Mining in the Harz started on the Rammelsberg. Operations at the mine stopped in 1988 after over 1000 years of almost uninterrupted mining and in 1992 it was declared UNESCO World Heritage together with the Historic Town of Goslar. Very pretty card, muchas gracias.
